Fundamental questions
1. List some strategies I have for moving files between computers (Home and School for example).
Some strategies I use for moving files between computers include using a flash drive, external hard drive, email, or an FTP site.
2. Describe what file extensions are and what they do.
File extensions are the last characters after the period in the name of a file. They are used to easily determine the file's generic type; such as graphics, plain text or music. File types determine which application or program opens up the file.
3. Where are your files stored?
My files are stored on a backup disk, external hard drive, jump drive, and both my laptop and main computer.
4. How do you access them?
My files are accessed by simply plugging in the hardware device that I have them stored on and double-clicking. If they are saved by email, I would just download the attachment. If they are saved on my FTP, then I would just drag them over to my active computer’s desktop.
5. What are the advantages/ disadvantages of each storage strategy?
My files on the backup disk, external hard drive, and main computer are secure, but not easily accessible. My jump drive and laptop are easily accessible, unfortunately not only to me, but to thieves/hackers as well.

Personality Test
Jung Test Results
Extroverted (E) 67.86% Introverted (I) 32.14%
Sensing (S) 65.63% Intuitive (N) 34.38%
Thinking (T) 62.86% Feeling (F) 37.14%
Judging (J) 55.88% Perceiving (P) 44.12%
Your type is: ESTJ
ESTJ - "Administrator". Much in touch with the external environment. Very responsible. Pillar of strength. 8.7% of total population.
traits:
organized, group oriented, focused, conventional, leader, emotionally stable, anal, attention seeking, planner, realistic, fearless, responsible, finisher, decisive, norm following, respects authority, punctual, hard working, stiff, self confident, thinks rules and regulations are important, follows the rules, clean, outgoing, social, content, does not like being alone, normal, regular, does not like weird or strange people / things - intolerant of differences, strict, disciplined, aggressive, assertive, content, happy, proper, formal, strict with self, meticulous, strong sense of purpose
favored careers:
executive, ceo, supervisor, business consultant, manager, strategist, financial planner, business person, office manager, public relations manager, international business specialist, business analyst, management consultant, operations manager, loan officer, lawyer, marketing, sports management, government employee, investment banker
disfavored careers:
poet, artist, songwriter, musician, novelist, art therapist, theatre teacher, art curator, film editor, video game designer, photo journalist, travel writer, actor, record store owner, camera operator, art historian, music teacher
My Short Narrative
My educated guess based on each description would be that I tend to be a sensing, thinking, and extraverted person, who doesn’t fit either the judging or perceiving category. My test results indicate that I am extroverted, sensing, thinking, and judging (ESTJ). The results were similar to my guess. However, I would not consider myself anal, attention seeking, or intolerant of differences. I do consider myself to be realistic, hard working, and very responsible (unlike what you may guess, given my shaky start in your class). The favored career list is manager/supervisor type jobs, as opposed to theater/art/music type fields. I would have to agree with this assessment.

September 10, 2008
Promise Academy Charter School
Memphis, TN US
To whom it may concern:
I am very interested in obtaining more information about the job opening. Your school and state seem to be a perfect fit for my family and I. I decided to become a teacher because I really enjoy presenting others with knowledge. I think it is amazing to be able to teach children things they will need to know for the rest of their lives. My favorite part is being able to teach the way I want. My style is a fun, exciting way of teaching that can be laid-back, but at the same time very strict. I got my education degree from Fairmont State University. My good characteristics are my sense of humor, will to succeed, competitiveness, and I feel that I will get along really well with my students and we will have a fun time learning. I feel that education is very important to everyone and without a quality education it is nearly impossible to succeed in life.
Sincerely,
Ben Booth
